How we handle your information.

Who we are

ELO Technologies (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/009895/07) is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website and in the course of our work. Our Information Officer can be reached at hello@elotechnologies.com.

What we collect

• Enquiries: the details you give us in the project questionnaire, the contact form, on WhatsApp or by email, such as your name, business, phone number, email address and what you need.
• Clients: the contact, billing and project details we need to deliver our services, invoice and keep records.
• Technical information: our servers keep basic logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If you save an unfinished questionnaire, your browser remembers its link so you can carry on later; you can clear this at any time in your browser settings.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare for a discovery conversation and proposal (with your consent, given on our forms).
• To deliver, host and support the work you engage us for, and to invoice for it (to perform our agreement with you).
• To keep financial and tax records as the law requires.
• To keep our website and systems secure.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you updated.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run our business, such as our cloud hosting provider and our email provider. They may store information on servers outside South Africa; we only use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to POPIA. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don’t become projects: deleted after 24 months without contact, or sooner on request.
• Client and financial records: kept for at least five years, as tax law requires.

How we protect it

Personal information is stored in a secured database that only authorised ELO staff can access, behind encrypted connections, password protection and access logging.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

• confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, where we don’t need to keep it by law;
• stop using it for a particular purpose, or withdraw your consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. See also our terms.
